Happy April! March has just gone, so let's take a look at what I did this month!
I am Maria-Anastasia, and I’m a software engineer and Microsoft IoT MVP.
I work remotely in the BEWISE, and I have a diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.
Moreover, I love to solve problems, help others, and present new technology solutions.
Specialties: – Software Engineering – Internet of Things – Robotics – STEM Education / Teaching – Algorithms – Social Media Management – Digital Marketing
Also, I am a Gold Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador and I have the highest distinction in this community. I am one of 3 Gold Ambassadors in Greece and one of 98 worldwide. Additionally, I was one of 30 Student Partners that has been selected to attend the 2020 Student Partner Summit at Imagine Cup EMEA Regional Finals in Amsterdam. Moreover, I was won many robotics international competitions with Robotics Club UoP.

Women's Day 2022
First, March is a month for women's equality awareness. For this reason, due to Women's Day 2022, the Rhodian newspaper "Rodiaki" published an article with four successful women in male-dominated professions. So, I had the honour to participate in this interview and share my experiences in the field of technology.
This article is in Greek, but with the help of a translator, you can read it in any language you wish. 😊
MVP Summit
Another good news this month was that I participated in my first Microsoft MVP Summit! I gained a lot of knowledge and "met" new MVPs. I really wish that next year it will take place in Redmond.

Job news
In my job at Team Candi, I went through Microsoft training, and I feel so thankful for this.
Moreover, In Greece, we have a custom, and we wear this bracelet so that the sun does not burn us when it starts to rise slowly. I received this bracelet from work and I found this gesture so cute.
